Sovereign Secure Communications

 

SentiNet is the secure communications layer designed to extend LAIRS beyond a single system—without reintroducing centralized trust.


Traditional networks prioritize connectivity first and security second. SentiNet reverses that order. It enables controlled communication between trusted systems while enforcing strict boundaries, identity verification, and governance at every connection point.


Identity verification rests on SPECTER, the platform's cryptographic signing core, meaning every authorized link between systems is cryptographically attested, not network-trusted.


SentiNet is required only for multi-system deployments — single-host LAIRS instances operate fully without it. When trusted systems must coordinate, SentiNet is the layer that allows them to do so without surrendering autonomy. It acts as an optional, deliberate extension, allowing systems to communicate only when explicitly permitted and under clearly defined conditions. This approach supports air-gapped operation, segmented environments, and selective trust relationships without sacrificing operational integrity.


By treating connectivity as a governed capability rather than an assumption, SentiNet allows distributed systems to cooperate without surrendering autonomy or control.
